Meet The Founder
Lowande Dott is the founder of Natures Gelli. Natures Gelli is an Organic Botanical Haircare Line. Natures Gelli is a clean and healthier hair care line formulated with good quality ingredients. Lowande’s journey began 9 years ago starting with her own natural haircare quest. She would mix ingredients such as aloe vera, honey, avocados, and coconut cream as a conditioner from her own kitchen. She was in love with the results yet she didn’t have a moisturizer, shampoo, or scalp oil to complete her 4c haircare regimen. Not to mention the conditioners she made had to be used the same day and she couldn’t preserve them. Lowande also juiced onions and used the juice on her scalp for growth which worked but the liquid would stink and couldn’t be used long-term. It wasn’t practical.
After a while, Lowende decided to do her research and formulate products that would complement her overall haircare needs as well as others. So she decided to create a line for each haircare need. With her husband Melvin by her side experimenting on his own straight hair and their grown son’s hair including family friends’ hair textures ranging from 1a- 4c as well. That is how Natures Gelli was born. Lowande wanted a haircare line that had botanicals being a nature girl herself and loving flowers she came up with the vast botanical line that is infused in a healthier option for those who want hair care products as close to nature as humanly possible. Lowande also wanted something for everyone to choose from for their particular hair type regiment. She formulated moisture, strengthening, hair growth, and a revitalizing conditioner as well as a moisturizer to complement each conditioner. If you have curly, straight, dreadlock, or relaxed here she tried to cover it all made from the heart and honestly trying to help others with their hair care needs Lowande’s own hair has flourished since using her own products daily. At 58 she has a head full of healthy hair that reaches her lower back. She says at her age her hair has never been healthier

THE FORMULA
We like to keep it NATURAL.
Natures Gelli uses Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol (BTMS), and Cetyl Alcohol. Optiphen Plus is a natural preservative used to prevent spoilage in Natures Gelli’s products. Its paraben-free and formaldehyde-free making it difficult for bacteria to grow. These ingredients are used in our conditioners. These conditioning emulsifiers are excellent agents used for dry, dull, and brittle hair. These alcohols are derived from Colza Oil and contain no ethoxylated ingredients. Emulsifiers are also used to help the liquid and oil to mix well.
No Harsh Chemicals
No propylene glycol, phthalates, mineral oil, parabens, petroleum, sulfates, silicons, paraffin, DEA, gluten, synthetic dyes, or formaldehyde. Natures Gelli wanted to personally formulate products with the least amount of chemicals, yet providing awesome products close to nature as humaly possible.
